How much does SEO cost for a wedding planner?
From wedding SEO specialists in the US, published prices in October 2026 ran $497 to $697 for a do-it-yourself course, $500 to $750 for an audit or strategy call, $800 to $2,450 for a done-for-you setup project, and $200 to $1,500 a month for ongoing work. In the UK, they ran £250 to £550 for courses and workshops, £275 to £695 for one-off work, and £149 to £3,000 a month.
We collected 22 published prices from 15 wedding-industry SEO providers (8 in the US, 7 in the UK) and re-checked every one on its provider's own site on October 15, 2026. Ten more providers we found publish no prices at all. One disclosure up front: we sell SEO to wedding businesses too, and our own price is at the end of this article so you can compare.

What do UK wedding SEO providers charge?

- The City SEO (London): from £149 a month for wedding vendors; £199 to £299 a month for photographers and planners; £249 for venues.
- Pearl Lemon (London): SEO for wedding planners from £3,000 a month, with a three-month minimum.

- Dan Ward Photography (Cornwall): basic SEO course, £250; advanced, £395.
- Becca Pountney: one SEO blog post a month written and published, £100 a month. That's content support rather than full SEO, so we left it out of the chart.
What do you get at each price point?
- DIY course (US $497 to $697; UK £250 to £550): videos, workbooks and checklists. You do the work. Best if you have time and like learning the tools.
- Audit or strategy call (US $500 to $750; UK £275): an expert reviews your site and hands you a prioritized fix list. You or your web designer make the changes.
- Done-for-you setup (US $800 to $2,450; UK £695): someone does the foundation for you. In the packages we reviewed, that usually meant keyword research, rewriting titles and text on your homepage and a few key pages, a Google Business Profile review, and connecting Google Search Console (Google's free tool that shows which searches you appear for).
- Monthly retainer (US $200 to $1,500; UK £149 to £3,000 a month): ongoing work such as new pages or posts, technical fixes, link building and monthly reports. The range is wide because what's included varies enormously, so compare deliverables, not prices.
Is SEO worth it for a wedding planner?
It depends on what one booking is worth to you and whether couples in your area search for planners. As an illustration, not a promise: if one extra full-planning booking is worth $5,000 to your business, a $2,000 setup project pays for itself if it brings in a single booking you wouldn't otherwise have had.
Timing is the honest catch. SEO usually takes months, not weeks, and nobody can promise a position. Google's own guide to hiring an SEO says plainly that no one can guarantee a #1 ranking on Google (Google Search Central). Treat any promise of guaranteed rankings as a red flag.
Search is also no longer only Google's blue links. Couples now ask ChatGPT and Gemini for planner recommendations; we tested what they say in how to get recommended by ChatGPT as a wedding planner. Good SEO work in 2026 should cover both.
How can you tell if an SEO quote is fair?
Use the questions Google itself suggests in its guide to hiring an SEO: ask for examples of past work, whether they follow Google's guidelines, what results to expect and over what time frame, how they measure success, and whether they'll share every change they make. Then watch for these red flags:
- Guaranteed rankings or a guaranteed number of leads. Nobody controls Google's results.
- Reports that only count keywords. Ask how they'll track inquiries from search, not just positions.
- Bought links or "link packages". Paying for links that aren't labeled as sponsored breaks Google's spam policies and can hurt your site.
- Long contracts with vague deliverables. You should know what will be done each month.
- No plan for your website itself. If your site is slow or has no inquiry form on the page, SEO traffic leaks away. Our audit of 74 planner homepages found only 25 with a form on the page.
If your site has gaps like those, fix them first: see how to get more inquiries from your wedding planner website.
What does BrandNLead charge for wedding SEO?
Our SEO for wedding businesses is $2,000 for the first four months, then $299 a month to keep it running. That puts us inside the done-for-you range above. Full details and what's included are on our SEO for wedding planners page, and every package is listed on our pricing page. We don't guarantee rankings either.
How did we collect these prices?
- Sample: wedding-industry SEO providers found through web searches for SEO services for wedding planners, photographers and venues in the US and UK. A provider was included only if it clearly focuses on wedding businesses and prints a price on its own site.
- Dates: prices first collected October 9, 2026 and re-checked live on each provider's site on October 15, 2026, with no changes found.
- Counts: 22 priced offers from 15 providers (15 offers from 8 US providers, 7 offers from 7 UK providers). 10 more providers publish no price.
- Limits: published list prices only; custom quotes and discounts aren't included, and prices can change, so check the provider's page before you buy.
